University Archive Longspan Shelving Solution

A midlands university with overburdened archive storage spread over two warehouses were looking for solutions to both increase archive storage and clear a large area to add office space.

Challenge

Space is a premium and the requirement for additional offices was required and the areas allocated were the existing stores. The Midlands University looked then to revamp both existing warehouses to house the archival boxes, realising these areas for optimal useage.

Solution

Having successfully won a competitive tender for the installation of over 200 bays of longspan shelving along with secure mesh partitioning the challenge was then to execute the supply and installation within a tight time scale.

A range of Dexion Longspan 2 Shelving was installed both topside and underside of the mezzanine floor for product storage requirements and secure mesh partitioning.
